If you didn’t attend Keller High School, then you know someone who did. Students at Keller High School are recognized for their notable accomplishments from academics to athletics and fine arts, and Keller High School Band is known for contributing some of those awards throughout the past few years.

These high school students have the opportunity to represent Keller (and the only band from Texas!) in New York City this Thanksgiving to perform in the 2018 Macy’s Day Parade! To help send Keller HS Band to New York, they are calling upon the community for support.

Keller HS students and parents are raising money with a Holiday fundraiser for the various expenses for their trip and they would love your help (Check out the list of needs here!)

Purchase a holiday wreath or Christmas tree through a KellerBand.BrungotFarms.com before October 7th and help the students reach their goal to make it to New York!

Donate to Keller High School Band on their website or click here to see how close they are to their goal! We hope to see Keller High walking on the streets of New York this fall!

The Truth about Foam

Recycle with Foam Fabricators!

Summer is is in full swing and that means cook-outs, pool parties and keeping drinks cold. People will be picking up extra foam coolers to keep their drinks icy from the hot Texas sun. However, so many of those get thrown in the garbage after a few short uses. But don’t throw out those coolers just yet! Foam Fabricators Inc. wants to get their hands on your foam…to recycle, that is. They are looking for Expanded Polystyrene (A.K.A. EPS, or commonly know at Styrofoam or White Foam). They make packaging material out of EPS, which is 100% recyclable and does not contain HCFC’s (which is ozone depleting hydrocarbons).

Stop by Foam Fabricators with your clean foam in a bag or box at 900 E. Keller Parkway, with a drop-off site in the rear off of Pate Orr and a 24 hour drop-off site inside the front glassed section on Keller Parkway. Call (817)379-6520 to make an appointment during business hours for large quantities of foam.

Please note, not all foam items can be recycled at Foam Fabricators, like the ones pictured below. If you have these items and would like to recycle them, the recycling plant at 850 Solon Road, Waxahachie, TX, 75165 accepts them. You can call for their business hours at (972) 937-7270.

About Foam Fabricators:

Foam Fabricators Inc. opened in Keller in 1984, though has been in business since 1957. If you are interested in learning more about Foam Fabricators Inc., click here! Or if you are curious about recycling foam, find more information here!
