This FREE event is for anglers 16 and under. Bring your fishing gear, and try to be the best angler as we stock our pond. Make sure you bring an adult buddy with you!
Keller Parks and Recreation partners with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to sponsor two free fishing events annually. In January the pond at Bear Creek Park will be stocked with rainbow trout; in June, the pond behind Town Hall will be stocked with freshwater catfish. Stocking dates are subject to change because of weather and fish availability.
Anglers are reminded that the Community Fishing Lake daily bag limit is five fish per day. There is no minimum length regulation on channel catfish in CFLs. Stocking dates are subject to change because of weather and fish availability.
