I Heart BBQ 2019
I HEART BBQ was created in 2015 to promote the Keller Senior Activities Center. The event is hosted by Keller Parks & Recreation. I HEART BBQ is a one day festival with something for everyone that loves BBQ, music, beer, and fun!
Saturday, Nov 2: 10 am to 8 pm
Food trucks and vendors: all day
Silent Auction: 10 am to 7 pm. Winners called at 7 pm. Items must be paid for and picked up by the following Friday, Nov. 8th.
I Heart BBQ 5K: presented by Dallas Athletes Racing. Take home a t-shirt, souvenir glass, and receive a free beverage sponsored by Austin Eastciders. Race starts at 11:30 am.

BBQ Cook Off: 1 to 3 pm. Purchase your $10 tasting card to sample BBQ and sides from local BBQ vendors. Pre-registration now open. Day of registration will be limited.

2nd Annual Battle of the Bands: We will be hosting our Battle of the Bands competition with your chance to win $500 AND a 3 song demo recording with The Rock Mill Music Academy – Music School & Studio. Bands must register online, pay the $20 non refundable application fee, and make sure to submit a link to your band in the forms section. If you have trouble uploading your video, please submit the video to parksandrec@cityofkeller.com. Submissions due by midnight on September 22nd. We will announce the finalists no later than October 14, 2019. If your band is picked you will be notified. Bands will perform 25 minute sets on Saturday, November 2. The winner will be announced that evening.
3rd Annual BBQ Cornhole Tournament: sponsored by Camp Gladiator Keller/Watauga begins at 3 pm. $20 for a team of 2. Includes 2 free beverages per person. Blind draw bracket and rules listed in the link to register. (You can register by clicking on the ticket link at the top of the page.)
