The Jarvies House at 124 South Main was moved to 133 Bates in October 2013 and opened October 7, 2014 as the Wild Rose Heritage Center. The Center provides a focus for the artifacts and memories of the history of the Keller area. Its activities will include monthly Heritage Luncheons with speakers highlighting our history; events targeting specific community groups; displays of Keller heritage topics; children’s history related activities and our History Youth Ambassador Program; a proactive search for early Keller residents and/or their descendants culminating , in many instances, with video interviews. The Center also will offer rooms for group meetings and activities, a Keller Visitor/Information Center, a small gift shop, and gardens featuring Texas friendly and Keller familiar plants and flowers.
